When I recognized that there was no way to buy a ready to install Disk brake kit for Volvo Portal axles, I collected some of the most experienced Off Roaders with Qualifications in Metal-Works together and started to develop my own Disk brake kit with them. Because we all are friends working together, we spent a lot of time and money, to find the optimal solution for me and the team, which had different project vehicles, but also planned to swap in the Volvos and didn’t like to use drum brakes.

When I started the project, I recognized that there were much more people which were interested in a better working brake so I decided to try to sell the kit. Here you are!

The idea was it, to build a system, which will handle the weight of a 3.5 ton rig while using mostly standard components for an easy service ability. To use service parts, which are available everywhere in the world, I choose Toyota as the best option. If you are in Malaysia, Kuwait, Germany or in the US, the service parts you need can be ordered at you local Toyota dealer, or even at an aftermarket store.

The next important thoughts were the stupid, unique, 8lug- rims. With our kit you can use any 16” 6-lug rim with a 5.5” bolt pattern. Even 15” can be used if you use the right offset.

We trust in our parts but all our Disc conversion parts are only made for Motorsports. Also we are not willing to organise any TÜV approvals. It is your own responsibilty to use these parts onroad.
